How do I need to pay?

You pay your bills the Viking way: as profitable as possible! Still have Viking Points? Those will automatically be used first. You’ll then see the outstanding amount on your invoice/payment invitation.

You easily earn Viking Points which you use to settle (part of) your bill. How? By referring a new Mobile Viking and with the Viking Deals.

Notifications

Have you used more than your bundle contained? Not to worry: via email and SMS we’ll keep you up to date:

  • when you’re about to go outside your bundle.
  • when you’re making costs outside of your bundle.
  • and an extra notification for every € 10 you're spending outside of your bundle.

Roaming in the EU

When you’re abroad, calling and texting is automatically available. But data roaming has to be activated manually in your phone’s settings. In the EU1 all of your roaming usage will be deducted from your subscription bundle. Additional roaming costs will be available on your next payment invitation.

When you still have calling minutes, sms and mobile data left in your bundle:

  • Extra cost for calling: € 0.06 / min.
    Calculated per second, with a minimum of 60 seconds.
  • Extra cost for texting: € 0.02 / text
  • Extra cost for surfing: € 0.06 / MB

When you have no calling minutes, sms and mobile data in your bundle left, you'll pay the out of bundle costs + an extra roaming cost.

  • You'll call at € 0.22 / min.
    Calculated per second, with a minimum of 60 seconds.
  • You'll text at € 0.07 / text
  • You'll surf at € 0.15 / MB

Swap your prepaid SIM card for a subscription? It’s easy as pie: just flip a switch in your settings. Swap the other way obviously is possible as well.

New number

Signing up for a new subscription is pretty straightforward. You don't need anything special. For a new number, we charge € 15 as administrative costs.

I want to keep my current number

Transferring your number to Mobile Vikings is a piece of cake: we take care of all administration involved.

  • The details of the subscription with your current operator (listed on your contract or payment invitation).

‹ backHow do I set up the mobile Internet?

To make a connection with the mobile Internet you will first have to configure your device correctly. For most devices sold in Belgium you can follow the configuration wizard on our website. If your device is not on this list, select a device which is similar to yours, or consult the manual of your device.

If you use an Android device, your settings will usually be the same, regardless of the brand you choose. Plenty of choice there. ;-)

Go to your account and select 'Settings' > 'SIM settings'. At the next step, you'll need to order a multi SIM (which contains a nano SIM too).

A € 5 administrative cost is charged for this swap, which will be deducted from your calling credit. Make sure that, when requesting a new SIM card, you have enough calling credit on your account. When you receive the new SIM card, remember to activate it via your account (on www.mobilevikings.be/activate).

Just ordered a new Mobile Vikings SIM card? No problem, the multi SIM card is the standard SIM card we send. It has all sizes, including the nano SIM card.

‹ backWhat do I need to do when my SIM card has been stolen or lost?

If your SIM card has been stolen or is lost, you have the possibility to block the SIM card and request a new one on your account. To do so, go to 'Settings' > 'SIM settings'.

If you request a new SIM card, it will be sent to you by regular mail free of charge. You will of course keep your phone number and your remaining calling credit. To block your device we need some extra information: what was the type of device; where did you lose your device (city); what was the time when you lost it (day and time) and what is the device's IMEI number? The IMEI number is stated on the packaging or purchase invoice of your device.

‹ backWhere do I find the PIN and PUK code of my SIM card?

The standard PIN code of your SIM card is displayed in your account in the section 'Settings' > 'SIM settings'.

If you have entered the PIN code incorrectly three times, your device will require your PUK code. This code is also displayed under 'Settings' > 'SIM settings'. You can now use the puk1 code. After entering this PUK code you choose a new PIN code.

Do you have 5 minutes to spare? Because that's all it takes to order your Mobile Vikings SIM card! Head over to the ‘Become a Viking’ page to get started.

What do you do to request a new number?

Go to the 'Become a Viking' page and select 'I want a new mobile number'. Then select a payment method for the administration fee and enter the number of one of your Viking friends (to make him or her earn 15 Viking Points). Then log in to your Viking account. If you do not have an account yet, creating one is very easy. Then you just have to read and accept the General Terms and Conditions before being ready to order.

What do you need to transfer your current number?

  • The number of your current SIM card,
  • Your identity card number (if you have the Belgian nationality),
  • If you are under an existing contract with a different provider, best to keep your customer number at hand too.

Got everything? OK, now go to the 'Become a Viking' page and select 'I want to keep my current mobile number'. This service is free of charge. You can also enter the number of one of your Viking friends (to reward him or her 15 Viking Points). Then log in to your Viking account. If you do not have an account yet, creating one is very easy. Select the type of SIM card you need and move on to step 3. Enter the information of your current provider to allow us to make a smooth transfer. Finally, read and accept the General Terms and Conditions and you are now ready to order.

What do we do for your number transfer?

  • We will send you a new SIM card.
  • We terminate the contract with your current provider when you send your activation text message, not before. Your current provider will not know that you have switched to Mobile Vikings until you send this text message.
